Canadian Casinos Opening

For over a year now, many casinos in Canada have been closed, which makes offline gambling inaccessible to people. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the businesses of the provinces of Canada have almost stopped. Many industries, especially the gambling ones, have been severely affected.

SIGA recently announced good news for all gamblers: on June 20, they will re-open their casinos throughout the province. Seven casinos of SIGA, including the Gold Horse Casino in Lloydminster, will re-open their doors to players and employees. The official opening of the Gold Horse will take place at 11.00 a.m.

About SIGA Casinos

The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority, or SIGA, is an organization created by the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations. SIGA supports Saskatchewan’s First Nation peoples through economic development, employment, positive relations establishment, and much more.

SIGA overwatches 7 casinos, and Gold Horse is one of them. This is a First Nations casino where you can enjoy much excitement and fun. Gamblers can expect the best stuff among slots and table games, and Gold Horse delivers. The casino offers to experience interesting games, unforgettable fun, and, of course, big winnings.

Gold Horse Casino Opening

Gold Horse casino will have strict restrictions such as complying with social distance, the mandatory use of personal protective equipment, and others. The casino will have a limit of 150 people who can visit a gaming floor at the same time. Unfortunately, restrictions imposed on the province force Gold Horse casino to provide only a few games and food services.

Measures and Restrictions

According to Gold Horse casino operators, guests will be required to have a small health check before entering the casino. They will be measuring a body temperature and if it is beyond the limit of 38°C, guests will have to come back another day. If necessary, upon request, guests will be provided with masks and gloves. All employees and guests must sanitize their hands before entering.

As expected, after the pandemic restrictions are loosened, the visitors will have more freedom. Now SIGA strictly follows the health protocols and recommendations from the government and health centers.

Welcome Again!

Zane Hansen, SIGA President and CEO, says they are so delighted to re-open the casinos that were closed for more than a year. A long road has been travelled on the way to safety. Gold Horse casino was waiting for its re-opening, and finally, they are ready to welcome everyone again.
