Premier gaming and betting event of the Great White North, Canadian Gaming Summit, gets the ‘Land-based’ conference track at its 26th edition.

Embracing the ongoing digital transformation within the gambling industry, the Canadian Gaming Summit aims to shed light on the future prospects of its land-based sector. The highly anticipated 26th edition of this summit will introduce a dedicated ‘Land-Based’ conference track, delving into the future of traditional brick-and-mortar gambling in an era dominated by extensive digitalization.

Scheduled for June 14, 2023, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the ‘Land-Based’ track will present an engaging conference agenda comprising a distinctive lineup of industry experts. These experts will engage in thought-provoking discussions on various aspects, such as the fate of conventional verticals like horse racing, lottery, and bingo in an increasingly online world, the emergence of omnichannel formats, and other pertinent subjects.

The conference track commences with an insightful panel titled ‘Extracting Lessons from Community & Charitable Gaming.’ This session will focus on exploring ways to sustain the viability and relevance of non-profit charities and commercial operators amidst the evolving gaming industry landscape. By addressing the need for adaptive strategies in charitable gaming, industry experts will provide valuable insights into navigating the new scenery.

Another noteworthy panel, ‘Integrating Emerging Technology and Innovation into Land-Based Gaming,’ will delve into the integration of cutting-edge technology with land-based gambling products. Given the influx of operators into the country’s market, the panellists will discuss effective strategies for operators to embrace local talent while fostering inclusivity and diversity.
